Oh me oh my
Well. Who should ever doubt the generosity and kindness of strangers? The #spreadthelove hash tag may only last for one night but in that one night people have been making connections and offering to send letters, stories, pictures, baked goods…a duck caller (@amreeves), even a gig in your living room (@melliottmusic). We might well need an alternative website to be able to adequately list it all and allow people to carry on being just plain wonderful but for now it seems everyone is doing their best to take ownership and make it work.
If you want to contribute, write a blog or be able to post, rewteet etc then just do it. Be the change you want to see as this is owned by everyone. There is no agenda. This was just prompted by a random conversation in the office at Citizen598 and has been embraced and given a quite brilliant life by so many people across twitter, across the world. It reminds me of the great warmth generated by the fantastic @twitterband and again proves there is far more to unite us all than divide.
Within minutes @zeldaenchante and @missellabell had leapt into action with working on this blog and making it look, you know, nicer-er. And @enhughesiasm has even been looking at possibilities for an improved domain.
If you receive or send something as part of #spreadthelove or you just happen to do something kind or be the recipient of kindness it seems here would be a great place for a pic or to acknowledge and to share with others and certainly tweet it with the hash tag.
Keep it coming! Much love,
@citizennate
