Let’s Spread the Love.

The world can seem cold, cynical and lonely.  It is easy to turn on the news and feel despair and that nothing can be done. It’s easy to scoff at talk of Occupying but all over the world people are showing they care. We all see it but sometimes we are overwhelmed by negativity. It’s easy. It’s also easy to do something though. Anything. SOMETHING. It might be sending a letter, a message or taking time. 

It seems twitter is a place where this happens every day. Human kindness. 

Today (27th October) has seen an amazing response to the hashtag #spreadthelove. Check it out. Strangers separated by circumstance, income and distance but united in wanting to feel they can contribute something and be part of something. 

What would make you smile? A letter from someone? A mix CD? A drawing of a dinosaur? An item from a flea market? Just ask.  You might be surprised by what people will do…
